Prayer at Northern Hills Baptist Church.
We invite you to
“Come away with God and just sit, stand or kneel in His presence”
in the NHBC sanctuary on Thursday, July
15 from 7pm to 9pm. The MHOP
praise band will provide an atmosphere of worship and prayer for all ages.
There will be NO child care so parents are asked to watch over your
children. The motto is “Come when
you can, leave when you are ready to.”

AWANA Basic Training for all new leaders will be held at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church on July
24 from 8:30am to 1:00pm. Seasoned leaders are encouraged to attend refreshing their
training. Throughout the AWANA year there will be L.I.T. sessions.
AWANA Conference will be held in Lenexa, Kansas at the Lenexa Baptist
Church on September 11 from 8:00am to 4pm. All leaders are encouraged to
attend.

of Children and Youth Needed at Northern Hills Baptist Church:
The five pillars of the youth and children
departments are:
1. Worship 2. Intercession 3. Faith.
4. Evangelism
5. Discipleship. Our Vision statement:
Love Jesus. Serve People. Change
the World.
The position requires hands on interaction within
the youth department and the ability to manage the children’s department.
The ideal candidate will be able to spur youth and children toward the five pillars, lead a
volunteer team of adults, occasionally fill the pulpit and be a devoted
lover/follower of Jesus Christ.
Requirements: 1. A
long term calling to youth ministry.
2. Seminary experience is preferred. 3. Previous
youth ministry experience. 4. Passion for Jesus and compassion for
people.
5. An
unwavering commitment to follow and obey the Holy Spirit.

Northern Hills Sign-Up Sheet
NHCA is looking for qualified candidates for:
- P/T Math position teaching Pre-Algebra, Algebra and Geometry to 7th-10th
grade students.
- P/T Science position teaching 1 or 2 sessions of Earth Science and
1 session of Physical Science to 7th-10th grade
students.
These positions could be
combined into one full time position if all qualifications were met. The
ideal candidate would have a degree in the subject matter area.

Children’s Wee Worship Nursery Dept. In Need of Workers willing to be scheduled to serve once every 8
weeks (or longer depending on how many people sign up to be scheduled.)
I would
like to help in the Wee Worship Nursery
Department on Sunday mornings.
8:00am or 10:45am
Include
me in the 8 week permanent
rotation
schedule.
I am available on August 22 to serve in Wee Worship
(2 and 3 yr olds) during the 10:45am service
Children’s ages range from
birth to 5 years old. Please let us know
