Guidelines for Meet Needs Ministry
This ministry is for the purpose of communicating various types of needs within the church body of Northern Hills Baptist Church. It is provided for all members and regular attendees. There are two categories: “Give & Receive” and “Sale & Service”. A separate link is available for each. You may use either link to request to be added to the e-mail loop. You will then receive messages from both. The focus of this ministry is to glorify God by being both willing to let your needs be known by sending requests and being available to meet the needs of others with the attitude located in Proverbs 3:27-28 “Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due when it is in the power of your hand to do so. Do not say to your neighbor “Go, and come back, and tomorrow I will give it,” when you have it with you [right now].”
needs@nhbcweb.org is to be used for items you would like to offer or request free of charge. These can be items for the house, garage, farm, yard, or person (examples: appliances, furnishings, pet products, garden items, clothes, baby items, children’s toys, etc.)
needs@nhbcweb.org is to be used for items you are looking to buy or would like to offer for sale; and also, for services with a charge that are requested or offered. Examples would be non-commercial services such as childcare, private music lessons, handyman services, garage sales, etc. Items to be sold can be household appliances, furnishings, vehicles, homes, etc., and should be reasonably priced to benefit those buying. This link is not to be used to promote commercial products or businesses.
